Weeds control in the winter and common winter weeds in Georgia (Alpharetta, Milton, Cumming, and Canton)

Lawn treatment is not exclusively for summer.   Best turf care with lush green lawn is a result of consistent year long effort.  When it comes to weeds control and management, it is especially true.   As the temperature drops, weeds don't just die.  There are weeds whose life cycle starts in late summer.  These winter weeds grow quickly in the winter and die in late spring or early summer. They compete for the moisture, sunshine and nutrition with health grass. If you don't kill these winter weeds, your lawn for next spring will suffer.

Here we will show you how to identify a few of the most common cool season winter weeds that affects Georgia lawns. These are also the weeds that we treat every year in the lawns in our service areas in the cities of Alpharetta, Milton, Cumming, Canton, and Suwanne.
